Who I Am
Hey! I'm Rohith — a final year (4th year) ECE student at IIT Bhubaneswar with a deep interest in VLSI design and embedded systems. I love working close to the hardware, from designing processors in Verilog to building IoT systems with microcontrollers.
I secured AIR 4946 in JEE Advanced 2023 among 1.5 million students and AIR 3372 in GATE 2026, reflecting my commitment to both fundamentals and advanced concepts in electronics.
Beyond academics, I'm an active contributor to IIT Bhubaneswar's fest ecosystem — Core Team of PRAVAAH and core membership in WISSENAIRE.
What I've Built
Designed and implemented Single-Cycle, Multi-Cycle, and 5-Stage Pipelined RISC-V processors in Verilog HDL based on Harris & Harris architecture. Implemented hazard detection, data forwarding, stalling, and branch handling. Verified via Vivado and Icarus Verilog.
Implemented UART at 9600 baud on Basys-3 FPGA. Data serialized via shift registers, transmitted, and deserialized at receiver with button debouncing. Output on both Basys-3 LEDs and TeraTerm serial terminal.
ESP8266-based IoT system monitoring temperature, humidity, air quality, and rainfall in real time. Data shown on I2C LCD and streamed to a Wi-Fi web dashboard. Demonstrates sensor interfacing, embedded firmware, and IoT connectivity.
Command-line student records manager in C — add, delete, modify, and search student data with persistent file-based storage. Strengthened core skills in C, data structures, and file I/O operations.
